How We Give Back

Our investments in the Omaha community are made through three channels: Foundation grantmaking, charitable corporate sponsorships and volunteers/board members. Each channel has its own online application form and process.

Support for all channels is limited to the Omaha metropolitan area, which includes Douglas (NE), Sarpy (NE) and Pottawattamie (IA) counties.

Visit our FAQs for more information. If you have any questions that are not addressed on these pages, please contact us.

Our processes are by invitation only. For more information about these channels of support, please contact us.

All organizations must align with these requirements:

Non-Discrimination

Support is limited to organizations that align with our non-discrimination policy, which states that organizations wishing to receive support must not discriminate in the delivery of programs or services on the basis of race, religion, gender/gender identity, sex, national origin, age, medical condition, handicap, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, and any other class protected by applicable law.

Organizations with a formal policy or guidance document should attach that to any application.

Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM)

In an effort to ensure that we are supporting organizations that adhere to best practices and regulations in nonprofit management, we strongly encourage that organizations:

  1. Are active and dues-paying members of NAM
  2. Utilize the NAM Guidelines and Principles Assessment with a goal of a Best Practice Partnership with NAM
  3. Participate in the annual online salary survey administered by NAM

For additional information, please visit the NAM website.
